KLM 1973 to Budapest. Train Pécs / Train Thursday to BP 28. April.
Here are some photos. The first one is with the captain I flew with last.
I arrived to Budapest at 10:30am then caught the bus to the metro then to Nepliget and waited 2 hours for the bus at 1:20pm. Then it was a 4 hour bus ride to Pécs. I got there at 5:30pm and my host picked up from the bus station. Her name is Bianka Tóth.
She took me to the mall and I bought a white collared shirt and blue tie then I ate a green spinach soup at the food court. She should me around the center and then the Corso hotel, where I need to go tomorrow.
She is 6'1", so when we got home, she put on her high heels and we got a photo together and then one normal. She likes Norway because they have tall people.

I met with Zubi this morning, the Malaysian girl who we took to the airport in Las Vegas. I met her in Maldives, Thailand, Las Vegas, and now in Budapest. She is traveling to Stockholm to visit for 3 days.
I went to embassy of Angola and they said it will take 10 business days, so that is April 26. I will submit the application and then plan to leave tomorrow night and come back in two weeks.

Hungary Before the Treaty of Trianon
Hungarian Music
Short History
The foundation of Hungary was laid in the late 9th century by the Hungarian grand prince Árpád His great-grandson Stephen I ascended to the throne in 1000 AD, converting the country to a Christian kingdom. By the 12th century, Hungary became a middle power within the Western world.
Following the Battle of Mohács in 1526, Medieval Hungary collapsed and succumbed to 150 years of partial Ottoman occupation(1541–1699). Hungary eventually came under Habsburg rule, and later formed a significant part of the Austro–Hungarian Empire (1867–1918).
Hungary's current borders were first established by the Cruel and Inhuman Treaty of Trianon (1920) after World War I, when the country lost 71% of its territory, 58% of its population, and 32% of ethnic Hungarians.
Following the interwar period, Hungary joined the Axis Powers in World War II, suffering significant damage and casualties. After came under the influence of the Soviet Union, which contributed to the establishment of a four-decade long communist dictatorship (1947–1989).
The country gained widespread international attention regarding the Revolution of 1956 and the seminal opening of its previously-restricted border with Austria in 1989, which accelerated the collapse of the Eastern Block.

MADÁRTÁVLATBÓL - ILYEN GYÖNYÖRŰ A
🌸
Budapest éji, nagy álmát hozom.
Be víg város vagy, én bús városom,
Zsibbadtan tapint fáradt két kezem,
Cigánnyal, borral, nővel érkezem.
Budapest éji, nagy álmát hozom.
Én vagyok a mámoros, kusza est.
Egy városom van: szegény Budapest.
Máshol keserű borom és söröm,
Itt számba ömlik az édes öröm.
Én vagyok a mámoros, kusza est.
Én hozom az álmot, Léthe-vizet
És Budapest ujjong, dalol, fizet.
Bizáncban is nőtt feledés moha,
De így feledni nem tudtak soha.
Én hozom az álmot, Léthe-vizet.
Itt mindenkinek utolsó tor int,
Itt a cél: esti öt vagy száz forint,
Itt estenként mind királyok vagyunk,
Holnap már letörünk, vagy meghalunk.
Itt mindenkinek utolsó tor int.
Itt mindenkit temető-láng vakít,
Itt mindenki gyászol már valakit.
Rossz asszony, váltó, betegség, kaland,
Rossz férfi, vak bűn, ártó hírharang.
Itt mindenkit temető-láng vakít.
Itt mintha a víg Halál lengene,
Szinház, kávéház, cigány, bor, zene,
Csók, ájulás, láz és mai siker,
Mit bánjuk ma, a holnap mit mível.
Itt mintha a víg Halál lengene.
Hajszás nap után éji örömök,
Kigyúlnak a szivek, ha én jövök.
Ugye, hogy jó az éji merés?
Ugye, hogy jó a vidám feledés?
Hajszás nap után éji örömök.
Holnap majd újra jövök, érkezem,
Most a hajnal vad szagát érezem.
Bús Budapest száguldj, rohanj tovább,
Szedd össze a jövő éj zálogát,
Holnap majd újra jövök, érkezem.

Az egész civilizált
világ adósa Magyarországnak az ő múltjáért.
TH. ROOSEVELT (1858-1919) Az
Egyesült Államok elnöke, 1910-ben Magyarországon
mondta:
„Az egész civilizáltvvilág adósa
Magyarországnak az ő múltjáért. Amidőn Amerika
még Európa méhében leledzett, Magyarország
gátolta meg a barbárok terjeszkedését,
Magyarország őrizte a civilizált világ
biztonságát. Nincs fényesebb történelem mint a
magyar nemzeté.”
„There is no more illustrious
history than the history of the Magyar nation…
The whole civilized world is indebted to
Magyarland for its historic deeds.”
II. MURAD szultán (1404-1451):
„Aki elfoglalja Magyarországot,
az ura az egész világnak.”
MARZIO GALEOTTO (1427-1497) és
ANTONIO BONFINI (1425-1502) olasz humanisták:
„Európa népei mind irigylik a
magyaroktól a Kárpát-medence területét, az itt
lévő gazdagságot, ezért gyűlölet veszi őket
körbe. Magyarországon a leggazdagabb a föld,
bő a hal-áldás, nagy mennyiségű a
kenyérgabona, a bor pedig kiváló.”
A Német-Római császár kancellárja
írja 1444-ben:
„Nagy hatalma van Magyarországnak
és nagy az ereje, de ahhoz, hogy a törököt
Európából kiűzhessék, sokkal nagyobbra lenne
szükség.”
CHARLES-LOUIS MONTESQIEU
(1689-1755), francia filozófus:
„A magyar híres
szabadságszeretetéről, nemes és nagylelkű
jelleméről, hősi bátorságáról.
Vendégszeretetének legendás híre van.”
GRIM JAKOB (1785-1863) az első
német tudományos nyelvtan megalkotója:
„A magyar nyelv logikus és
tökéletes felépítése felülmúl minden más
nyelvet.”
„The Hungarian language is logical,
has a perfect structure and surpasses every
other language.”
„Die ungarische Sprache ist
logisch, vollkommen, ihr Aufbau übertrifft jede
andere Sprache.”
Sir BOWRING JOHN (1792-1872)
„A magyar nyelv messze magasan
áll, magában. Egészen sajátos módon fejlődött,
és szerkezetének kialakulása olyan időkre
nyúlik vissza, amikor a legtöbb európai nyelv
még nem is létezett. Önmagában, következetesen
és szilárdan fejlődött nyelv, amelyben logika
van, sőt matézis, erő, a hangzatok minden
hajlékonyságával és alakíthatóságával. E nyelv
a nemzeti önállóság, a szellemi függetlenség
legrégibb és legfényesebb emléke… A magyar
nyelv eredetisége még ennél is csodálatosabb
tünemény! Aki megfejti, isteni titkot
boncolgat, annak is az első tételét…”
„The Hungarian language goes far
back. It developed in a very peculiar manner and
its structure reaches back to times when most of
the now spoken European languages did not even
exist. It is a language which developed steadily
and firmly in itself, and in which there are
logic and mathematics with the adaptability and
malleability of strength and chords. The
Englishman should be proud that his language
indicates an epic of human history. One can show
forth its origin; and all layers can be
distinguished in it, which gathered together
during contacts with different nations. Whereas
the Hungarian language is like a rubble-stone,
consisting of only one piece, on which the
storms of time left not a scratch. It's not a
calendar that adjusts to the changes of the
ages. It needs no one, it doesn't borrow, does
no huckstering, and doesn't give or take from
anyone. This language is the oldest and most
glorious monument of national sovereignty and
mental independence. What scholars cannot solve,
they ignore. In philology it's the same way as
in archeology. The floors of the old Egyptian
temples, which were made out of only one rock,
can't be explained. No one knows where they came
from, or from which mountain the wondrous mass
was taken. How they were transported and lifted
to the top of the temples. The genuineness of
the Hungarian language is a phenomenon much more
wondrous than this.”
VICTOR HUGO (1802-1885) francia
költő, író:
„Magyarország a hősök nemzete,
Németország az erényt, Franciaország a
szabadságot, Olaszország a dicsőséget
képviseli a nemzetek sorában. Magyarország a
hősiesség megtestesülése. …Magyarország nem
halt meg és nem halhat meg. Ez a kiváló nemzet
majd kitör sírjából ahová az önkény fektette.”
„Hungary is the Nation of heroes,
Germany represents virtue, France represents
libery, Italy represents glory among the nations
of the world. Hungary is the incarnation of
valour”
SAINT RENÉ TAILLANDIER (1817-1879)
francia író, kritikus:
„A magyar nemzet nem pusztulhat
el, s ha sírba tennék is, előbb-utóbb fel fog
támadni.”
N. ERBERSBERG (1840):
„Olyan a magyar nyelv szerkezete,
mintha nyelvészek gyülekezete alkotta volna,
hogy meglegyen benne minden szabályosság,
tömörség, összhang és világosság, és emellett
szorgosan került minden közönségest,
kiejtésbeli nehézséget és szabálytalanságot.”
„The structure of the Hungarian
language is such that it appears that linguists
could have created it with the purpose of
incorporating in it every rule, conciseness,
melody and clarity and besides all this it
avoided any commonness, difficulty in
pronunciation and irregularities.”
„Die Struktur des Ungarischen
erscheint mir so, als sei sie von einer
Versammlung von Linguisten entwickelt worden,
damit die Sprache alles Wichtige enthalte –
Regelhaftigkeit, Dichte, Klarheit und Harmonie.”
FRENCESCO FORGIONE (1887-1968)
olasz kapucinus szerzetes:
„Magyarország egy olyan kalitka,
amelyből egyszer még egy gyönyörű madár fog
kirepülni. Sok szenvedés vár még rájuk, de
egész Európában páratlan dicsőségben lesz
részük. Irigylem a magyarokat, mert általuk
nagy boldogság árad majd az emberiségre. Kevés
nemzetnek van olyan nagy-hatalmú őrangyala,
mint a magyaroknak és bizony helyes lenne
erősebben kérniük hathatós oltalmát
országukra!”
GEORGE BERNARD SHAW (1856-1950)
angol író:
„Őszintén mondom, az
anyanyelvemen nagyon sokszor képtelen vagyok
érzéseimet és gondolataimat teljes
pontossággal visszaadni. A mi nyelvünk gazdag,
nagy és praktikus, de viszonylag fiatal…
Bátran kijelenthetem, hogy miután évekig
tanulmányoztam a magyar nyelvet,
meggyőződésemmé vált: ha a magyar lett volna
az anyanyelvem, az életművem sokkal értékesebb
lehetett volna.”
„After studying the Hungarian
language for years, I can confidently conclude
that had Hungarian been my mother tongue, it
would have been more precious. Simply because
through this extraordinary, ancient and powerful
language it is possible to precisely describe
the tiniest differences and the most secretive
tremors of emotions.”
ALBERT CAMUS (1913-1960) francia
nobeldíjas író – Párizs, 1957 októbere:
„… A magyar vér oly nagy értéke
Európának és a szabadságnak, hogy óvnunk kell
minden cseppjét. …A szabadság mai évfordulóján
szívemből kívánom, hogy a magyar nép néma
ellenállása megmaradjon, erősödjön és a
mindenünnen támadó kiáltásaink visszhangjával,
elérje a nemzetközi közvélemény egyhangú
bojkottját az elnyomókkal szemben. …A legázolt
bilincsbe vert Magyarország többet tett a
szabadságért és igazságért, mint bármelyik nép
a világon az elmúlt húsz esztendőben. Ahhoz,
hogy ezt a történelmi leckét megértse a fülét
betömő, szemét eltakaró nyugati társadalom,
sok magyar vérnek kellett elhullnia – s ez a
vérfolyam most már alvad az emlékezetben.”
„…The Hungarian blood is such a
treasure of Europe and freedom, that we must
save every drop of it. …Upon this anniversary of
liberty I wish with all my heart, that the
silent resistance of the Hungarian people would
carry on, strengthen itself, so that as an echo
of a cry coming from all directions, would
achieve in world opinion a boycott against the
aggressors. And even if this world opinion is
too weak and selfish to bring justice to this
martyr nation, if our voice is too weak, I wish
that the Hungarian resistance would hold out
until the conter-revolutionary regimes of the
East crumbles beneath the weight of their own
lies and contradictions. …The conquered and
bound Hungary has done more for freedom than any
other nation in these past 20 years. For this
historical lesson to be heard by the blind and
deaf West, much Hungarian blood had to be
spilled – and this torrent of blood is now
drying up in the memory of the public.”
„Kelet-Afrika pusztáin
tevekaravánok tábortüzeinél a magyar
szabadságharcról énekelnek olyan törzsek is,
melyek Európáról sem igen hallottak.”
„In the deserts of East Africa, by
the camp-fires of camel-caravans, some tribes
(who have heardly even heard of Europe), sing
with reverence songs of the Hungarian
revolution.
ISAAC ASIMOV (1920-1992) scifi író:
„Az a szóbeszéd járja Amerikában,
hogy két intelligens faj létezik a földön:
emberek és magyarok.”
„A persistent rumor has circulates
in the USA: There are two intelligent races
living on the surface of planet Earth: the
standard people and the hungarians”
HELMUT KOHL német konzervativ
politikus, kancellár 1982-1998-ig:
„A legnagyobb csapást a
nemzetközi kommunizmusra a magyarok mérték és
a berlini falból az első követ a magyar
hősiesség ütötte ki.”
„Hungary was where the first stone
was removed from the Berlin Wall.”
KRANTZ S. GROVER (1931-2002)
amerikai antropológus:
„A magyarországi magyar nyelv
ősisége ugyanilyen meglepő lehet… átmeneti
kőkori nyelvnek tartom, mely megelőzi az
újkőkor kezdetét… a magyar az összes helyben
maradó európai nyelvek közül gyakorlatilag a
legrégibb…”
„The dating of the ancient
hungarian language is very surprising. I
personally think that this is the original
language from the stone age and it has predates
even the start of the neolitis age languages…
clearly, from all of the presently known
languages the hungarian is the most ancient.”
HANS KUITERT – De Telegraaf (2001):
„A nacionalizmus gyakran
ellenérzést vált ki a világban: másokkal
szembeni felsőbbrendűség érzését sejteti s
olyan kellemetlen nevek kapcsolódnak hozzá,
mint Hitleré, Milosevicsé és – néhány
palesztin számára – Sharoné. A magyar
nacionalizmus azonban más természetű,
veszélytelen jelenség. A magyar nacionalizmus
ugyanis a Marsról jön.
A Marsról, a nap negyedik
bolygójáról, ahová a NASA áprilisban kutató
szondát indított, noha kutatás végett elég lett
volna egy Concordot küldeni Budapestre. Hisz
Magyarország a Földre szállt Mars s a magyarok
olyanok, mintha földöntúli elmék lennének:
virtuózok a számítástechnikában, briliáns
tudósok, akik Nobel-díjakat nyernek, kiváló
matematikusok. Egyszóval ha igaz a mese – az
emberiség krémje.”
„Nationalism is often seen with
disapproval in the world: it implies superiority
of a certain people with regards to others ...
Hungarian nationalism
however is of a totally different nature, a
harmless phenomenon. Hungarian nationalism
obviously came from Mars.
From Mars, the fourth planet of our
Solar system, where NASA launched a probe in
April, although I believe it would have been
easier to send a Concorde-jet to Budapest. For
Hungary is like Mars on Earth, and Hungarians
are as if they were Martian: they are leading
minds in computer technology, brilliant
scientists who win Nobel Prizes, outstanding
matematicians. So if the story is true – they
are the crem de la creme of humanity.”
NICHOLAS LEZARD – The Guardien
(2004):
„A magyarok tulajdonképpen nem is
földi lények, hanem egy szuper-intelligens
földönkívüli-faj, amelynek sikerült
egybeolvadnia az emberiséggel, s csak műveik
zsenialitása és nyelvük teljes érthetetlensége
árulja el őket.”
„Hungarians are not actually native
earthlings, but a super-intelligent
extra-terrestrial race which has managed to
blend in with humanity, only giving themselves
away by the genius of their works and the
absolute impenetrability of their language.”
ARNALDO DANTE MARIANACCI, az Olasz
Kultúrintézet igazgatója (2006):
„…a magyar nyelv nem szorul
senkire, nem kölcsönöz, nem üzletel, nem ad
nem vesz el senkitől. Míg más országokban a
nép formálja a nyelvet, addig itt a nyelv
formálja a magyarokat. Azt hiszem, hogy a
magyar nyelv a világörökség része is lehetne,
mert tiszta nyelv. Semmilyen más nyelvnek nem
sikerült tulajdonképpen behatolni és idegen
kifejezéseket ráerőltetni…”
TANPAI RINPOCE a nepáli Fehér
Király kolostor vezető lámája 2007-ben:
„Önök, magyarok elképzelni sem
tudják, milyen büszkék lehetnek nemzetükre,
magyarságukra. Mi biztosan tudjuk, hogy a
világ szellemi, lelki és spirituális
megújhodása az Önök országából fog elindulni.”
JOACHIM MEISNER (1933- ) bíboros,
2009. augusztus 20-án:
„Európának szüksége van
Magyarországra, arra a szenvedésben, háborúban
és szükségben megerősödött népre, amely soha
nem hagyta magát legyőzni.”
BILL JAMIESON (1945-) – Scotland on
Sunday (2012. január 15-én):
„…Nyugati nemzet régóta nem
hozott létre ilyen feddhetetlen kulturális és
szellemi tartalmú és lenyűgöző morális értékű
dokumentumot. A 21. század erkölcsi
sivatagában megdöbbentő lehet szembesülni a
hagyományos értékek, hazafias hozzáállás és az
igazi szabadság tiszteletének ilyen
drágakövével. Nem csoda, hogy Brüsszel és
Washington erőszakkal vissza akarják vonatni:
olvassanak egy kis magyar történelmet, mielőtt
ilyen hiábavaló próbálkozásba fognának.”
„…it is a long time since any
western nation produced a document of such
intellectual and cultural integrity, moral worth
and wholly admirable quality. In the moral
desert of 21st-century Europe, it is startling
to find this gem of traditional values,
patriotic assertion and respect for genuine
freedom. Naturally, Brussels and
Washington are anxious to force its repeal: they
should read some Hungarian history before
embarking on such a futile confrontation.”
